Jayasurya to headline Joshiy’s next; refers to the film as ‘dream project’

Malayalam actor Jayasurya is celebrating his birthday today and wishes are pouring in for the star. On this special day, Jayasurya has announced details of his next. The versatile actor will be joining hands with veteran filmmaker Joshiy for an upcoming film!
Although Jayasurya has worked in Joshiy’s film ‘Robin Hood’ earlier in 2009, the upcoming film will be his first with the master filmmaker in the lead role.Jayasurya was exhilarated to share the first look poster of the film and has referred to the film as his ‘dream project’.
Nishad Koya, who has previously scripted films like ‘Ordinary’ and ‘Thoppil Joppan’ will be scripting the film.
Venu Kunnappilly of Kavya Films will be backing the project. The upcoming film will also mark the second production from Kavya Films, as their previous was ‘Mamangam’ starring Mammootty. If reports are to be believed, Jayasurya-Joshiy film will be an action entertainer.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jayasurya was recently filming for ‘Meri Awaz Suno’, wherein he will be sharing the screen with Manju Warrier. Jayasurya will be essaying the role of a radio jockey in the film. He will play RJ Sankar, who is a calm person, and presents his show like a normal conversation, unlike the usual peppy-zippy styles of radio presenters.
Jayasurya has also signed a bunch of interesting movies including ‘Sunny’, ‘Eesho’ ‘Rama Sethu’, and ‘Kathanar’ among others.
