Kalidas to start filming Poomaram

Kalidas Jayaram's debut movie as a hero in Malayalam will kick off at the Maharajas College Grounds on Oct 12. The film titled Poomaram is directed by Abrid Shine.
The entire setting of the film will be in the college in Ernakulam and it is touted to be a campus movie. Apart from Kalidas, the film will have a host of newcomers.
Prior to signing Abrid's film, the actor had worked in the Tamil movies Oru Pakka Kathai and Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum, which is awaiting release.Kalidas had earlier worked in Malayalam as a child artiste in Ente Veedum Appuvinteyum and Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal.
