While director Kamal’s forthcoming project Nadan has got the drama artistes in the state in high spirits, the makers of the movie are now planning to organise a camp to select veteran actors for the film, which traces the history of plays. The film’s scribe Suresh Babu says, “We need a lot of actors to play the supporting cast and we are only looking at the theatre artistes for these roles.
The camp would help us select a veteran cast as the film delves into the part that plays had played in the socio-cultural revolution of Kerala and people who have a better understanding of such plays would be a good fit.”
The film, which has
Jayaram in the lead, will also have two lead actresses who are yet to be cast. The filming is set to be in Quilon and is scheduled to begin by August.
