'Kathanar -The Wild Sorcerer 3D' teaser: Fans go gaga for the Jayasurya-starrer horror thriller

Mollywood audience has seen N number of horror thrillers till date. The different plot, unique characters, stories, fresh narrative, Mollywood has had a good amount of experimentation in the genre. However, the audience seems to be still intrigued by the tale of Kadamattathu Kathanar. There have been movies and soaps made around the tale, but the specific story still keeps fans hooked to all of them for some strange reason.
Mollywood’s most promising actor Jayasurya has now been roped in to play Kadamattathu Kathanar, the legendary priest who possessed supernatural powers and used to hunt evil forces.Titled as 'Kathanar The Wild Sorcerer 3D' the movie was launched today with a gripping teaser. The launch teaser features Jayasurya who is essaying the titular role of Kathanar. Kalliyankattu Neeli, the ghost, says that no matter how powerful he is, she would still come back to take him! The intoxicating voiceover has made the audience anticipate more from the movie.
Sharing the poster, Jayasurya wrote, “A small step for a big leap...Here comes the Wizard of Kadamattam (Motion Poster) Please bless us to complete this mega visual treat of Kerala's one and only 'Super Hero' the Legendary Kathanar!”

The movie is directed by ‘Philips and the Monkey Pen’ fame Rojin Thomas and bankrolled by Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House. R Ramanand has crafted the script and Neil D Cunha is cranking the lens. The movie will be made in a 3D format and will also have a sequel to it.
