‘Kattalan’ teaser: Antony Varghese's action-packed entertainer is not for the faint-hearted

The film is reportedly mounted on a massive budget and is centered around ivory smuggling. The film also marks the Malayalam debut of actress Dushara Vijayan, who is a household name in Tamil cinema. The film also has Kabir Duhan Singh, Jagadish, Siddique, Anson Paul, Raj Tirandasu, singer Hanan Shaah, Malayalam rapper Baby Jean, Shon Joy, ‘Kill’ movie fame Parth Tiwari, Shibin S Raghavan of ‘Lokah’ fame, Hipster Pranav Raj, and Call Me Venom in some pivotal roles. The film is high on action. Kecha Khamphakdee, known for his films ‘Ong-Bak 2’, ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’, ‘Jawan’, ‘Baaghi 2’, and ‘Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1’, has been roped in to direct the action sequences. Kannada composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work in ‘Kantara Chapter 2,’ is also part of the film. The film is jointly scripted by the director Paul, Joby Varghese, and Jero Jacob, while the dialogues are crafted by Unni R.
