Rajeev Ravi’s ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ explored a very realistic approach to police investigation thrillers. The
Asif Ali starrer hit the big screens on May 27 and the film garnered mixed responses from the audience.
Now, as per the reports, Asif Ali - Rajeev Ravi’s ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ will start streaming on a popular OTT platform from June 24 onwards.
Recently Mammootty’s ‘CBI 5’ was also released via a popular OTT platform on June 12.
Helmed by Rajeev Ravi, ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ had the script penned down by
Sibi Thomas and Sreejith Divakaran. The story revolved around a 5-member police team who were on a hunt to catch the culprits of a mysterious robbery that happened in Kerala.
Sibi Thomas, the writer, who is also a real-life police officer, penned down the story for ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ from his own life story, and in a recent interview Asif Ali said that the makers have the plan to do a sequel to ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’. Even though being a Rajeev Ravi film too, the netizens gave a mixed reaction to ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ as some of them claimed the film to have a slipshod script.
Suresh Rajan cranked the lens for ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ and the editing section was handled by B Ajithkumar. Dawn Vincent was roped in as the music composer for the film which was bankrolled by Arun Kumar VR
Apart from Asif Ali, ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ also featured the actors
Sunny Wayne, Alencier Ley Lopez, Sharafudheen, Sibi Thomas, Srindaa, Senthil Krishna, Madhusoodhanan, and Mano Jose in pivotal roles.
