Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Jallikettu to release in October?

It’s been a while since Lijo Jose Pellissery’s directorial hit theatres. The filmmaker’s past two movies – Angamaly Diaries and Ee Ma Yau – won critical acclaim with the latter rumoured to even be the frontrunner at this year’s National Awards.
Now, we hear that his upcoming directorial Jallikettu is scheduled to hit theatres this October. The movie’s lead actor Antony Varghese had revealed this to the media during the launch of his next film, Aanaparambile World Cup.
Jallikettu also has Sabumon in an important role. The film is touted to be a social satire and has Girish Gangadharan as its cinematographer and Prashant Pillai handling the music.
