‘Little Miss Rawther’ censored; Gouri G Kishan starrer to hit the big screens soon

The film 'Little Miss Rawther' starring Gouri G Kishan has received a U/A certificate and is set to release soon. The romantic drama explores the love story between a tall man and a short woman. The director described the film as having comical elements in addition to the romance. The movie features actors Shersha Shereif, Jishnu Sreekumar, Nikita Therese, and Sangeetha Prathap in significant roles. Luke Jose is the director of photography, Sangeeth Prathap is the editor, and Govind Vasantha is composing the music.

Gouri G Kishan starrer ‘Little Miss Rawther’ is gearing up for release. The film has been censored, and has got a U/A certificate. The run time is 126.33 Mts. Gouri G Kishan took to her social media handle and announced the exciting news. “Our baby just got certified. Coming to you very soon,” Gouri G Kishan said in her Instagram note.

‘Little Miss Rawther’ is helmed by debutant Vishnu Dev. Touted to be a romantic drama, ‘Little Miss Rawther’ tells the love story between a tall man (6.2 ft) and a short woman (5 ft). Shersha Shereif is playing the male lead opposite Gouri. Actors Jishnu Sreekumar, Nikita Therese, and, Sangeetha Prathap will be seen in some significant roles in the film. Nandini Gopalakrishnan, Ranjith Velayudhan, and Manoj K U too are part of the cast.

Speaking to ETimes earlier, the director said, “Gouri G Kishan plays the title character - Nina Rawther. She hails from a financially well-off background. She is a progressive woman, very much practical about everything in life, but when it comes to romance things are quite different. She falls for an aspiring filmmaker. ‘Little Miss Rawther’ explores the romance between a tall man (6.2 ft) and a short woman (5 ft). Though it's a romantic drama, there are also comical elements.”


Naina Rawther, a liberated, modern-day successful young woman, born to an upper-middle-class Muslim family finds herself at great odds on her wedding night. Amidst her intrusive orthodox family, a patriarchal father, an over-dramatic mother, and her spiraling OCD have only added to her woes.

On the technical front, Luke Jose is the director of photography. Sangeeth Prathap is the editor. Govind Vasantha is composing the music, and the lyrics will be penned by Anwar Ali, and Tito P Pappachan.
