The young actress, who did a prominent role in M Mohanan's '916', has landed a lead role in the Kollywood flick, 'Chandravadhana', directed by debut director Sreenivasan. Asif Ali, who gave her the confidence to take up the role. 'Anoop and Asif were very co-operative and encouraging. They helped me polish my acting skills,' says Malavika, who played Anoop's daughter and Asif's love interest in the movie.
She is currently in Salem for the shoot of
Chandravadhana. Between the shots, she is busy with her studies. 'I have exams next month. But my friends and teachers are so proud of me that they are ready to help me any time. What more can I ask for?' says a beaming Malavika.
