Malayalam filmgoers asked if I had left the industry: Dulquer Salmaan

Young heartthrob Dulquar Salmaan looked back at his seven years in the industry in a recent interview and felt that the time has just flown, particularly because things don’t get monotonous in “this line of work”. But he pointed out that he had done only two films - and both not in Malayalam - in 2018: Karwaan in Hindi and Mahanati in Telugu.
“The filmgoer in Malayalam is quite upset with me; have you left Malayalam (industry)? Are you done with Malayalam,” he says about the response of fans from Kerala in the past year.His last Malayalam release was ‘Solo’ in October 2017. But fans need not fear; ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha’, directed by BC Noufal and co-starring Samyuktha Menon, is already on the floors.
