Now the actor is teaming up with the debutant director Roby Varghese Raj for an upcoming film which is touted to be a suspense thriller.During a conversation with the media, the popular actor Mammootty revealed the title of an upcoming project which he referred to as ‘Kannur Squad’. Netizens are now puzzled whether ‘Kannur Squad’ is the title of Roby Varghese Raj’s directorial thriller. The title has not yet been officially announced by the makers.Mammootty - Roby Varghese Raj’s upcoming movie is mounted on a huge budget and the megastar will be reportedly playing the role of a senior police officer in the movie which is touted to be an investigative thriller. The film started rolling on December 27, 2022. Reportedly, Mammootty - Roby Varghese Raj’s upcoming film will be extensively shot in various locations of Pala (Kerala), and North India. The screenplay and dialogues of the film are penned down by the actor Rony David Raj and Sushin Shyam is roped in as the music composer. The movie also has the actors Sharafudheen, Sunny Wayne, Azeez, and Gayathri Arun in significant roles. Meanwhile, Mammootty - Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ is running successfully in the theatres and the film is getting much adulation from movie buffs. Actors Ashokan, Vipin Atley, and Ramya Pandian also played prominent roles in the drama movie.
