Playing multiple roles convincingly in a single movie is something actor Mammootty has successfully pulled off time and again in his career. In his upcoming project to be directed by debutant Saji, the megastar will essay the roles of three different men in their late fifties. The movie, which is in its initial stages, is set to go on floors next year and is scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam.
Says Benny, “The story of the film is set in a village and Mammukka will play three different characters, who are in their fifties. He will also be sporting unique get-ups for each of them. The shoot is expected to start by March, next year.”
The film’s director, Saji, says, “We will soon start with the casting and finalise the rest of the technicians of the movie. Other than Mammootty, nothing else regarding the project is confirmed as of now.”
Previously, Mammootty had enacted three different characters in
Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha, which was directed by
Ranjith.
