Mammootty's Puthiya Niyam shifted to next year

For those awaiting a Mammootty-Dulquer Salmaan battle at the box office this year will have to take reign check! The megastar has apparently shifted the release of his next film Puthiya Niyamam so that it wouldn’t clash with Dulquer’s Charlie. Earlier, it was announced that both the films would release in December with Charlie hitting theatres on Dec 18 and Mammootty-Nayanthara flick being a Christmas release. But the plans have now changed. The reason, a source close to the actor, tells us, “Both movies are distributed by the same team and they didn’t want a movie to lose out on revenue. It was logical to leave a gap of at least three weeks between the releases.”
