Mammootty's 'Uncle' teaser shows what he means to the world

After 'Shutter,' Joy Mathew is ready with the next film he scripted, 'Uncle,' starring Mammootty.
Directed by Gireesh Damodar, the movie is a family entertainer and is centred around an unusual family situation. It's teaser, which is just out, features how Mammootty's eponymous character is special to everyone around him. Earlier, Joy Mathew had told us that it's a socially relevant subject and has a 17-year-old girl and her dad's friend as pivotal characters. The film, primarily shot in Ooty and Kozhikode, has 'CIA' fame Karthika Raveendran as the leading lady. The film's director Gireesh had worked with those like Ranjith and Padmakumar, earlier.
