Manju Warrier's Aami the best biopic in Indian cinema, says Soorya Krishnamurthy

Kamal's biopic on Madhavikutty, Aami, starring Manju Warrier, has been getting good reviews and among them is that of Soorya Krishnamoorthy, who says he was deeply moved by the film.
On getting up from his seat after the credits, he heard a woman behind him crying out- Aami oppe (sister). He realised that the woman was Sulochana, Madhavikutty's sister. "I was in the same state of mind as her, and it felt like a stone had placed itself in my heart, he wrote.I couldn't meet Kamal or Manju Warrier, as my mind was heaving.
The best biopic I have seen is that of Gandhi by Richard Attenborough, and I got the same feelings on seeing Aami. It's an honest film, and Kamal has drawn the Krishna in the writer's mind beautifully. Aami is the best biopic I have seen in Indian cinema. Manju, you are one of the wonders of the world," he wrote.
