‘Mayalle’ song from ‘Makal’ is sure to brighten up your day!

After launching a joyful teaser, the makers of ‘Makal’ has unveiled a song from the film. Titled ‘Mayalle’ the song gives a glimpse into the family, wherein Jayaram and Meera Jasmine play the role of a married couple, and, Devika Sanjay essays the role of their teenage daughter. Composed by Vishnu Vijay, the lyrics of ‘Mayalle’ were penned by BK Harinarayanan.
The song hints that the couple had an interfaith marriage and their daughter seems confused on which religion to follow.The comment section of the song is flooded with love from netizens.

Helmed by Sathyan Anthikad, ‘Makal’ is written by Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram. Jayaram and Meera Jasmine will be essaying the lead roles in the film, while, Devika Sanjay, Naslen, Innocent, Sreenivasan, Sidhique, Altaf Salim, Jayasankar, Dayyana Hameed, Meera Nair, Sreedhanya, Nilja Baby, and Balaji Manohar have roped in to play some supporting roles in the film.

On the technical side, S Kumar ISC has roped in as the cinematography director, while, K Rajagopal is the editor. Vishnu Vijay is the music director, while Rahul Raj is composing the background score, and Harinarayanan is the lyricist.
‘Makal’ marks the second innings of Meera Jasmine. Billed as a theatrical release, ‘Makal’ will hit the bigs screen in the last week of April.
