"We play six to eight games depending on our stamina. Being an enthusiastic player, I enjoy playing with Sunny, Midhun and John Kaipally," says Rony. In the evening, Rony used to play with directors Ajay Vasudev and Marthandan. "It makes me disciplined and brings a routine to my day now," he says.
Sunny Wayne says it's adrenalin rush to play together and also stress buster. "We don't speak cinema at all and we play like real gamers and it is the best stress buster," he says.
There was a recent meet-up of actors

Poojitha Menon and Rony for a game of badminton at a court in Azad Nagar, Kochi.
Anchor and actress Ranjini Haridas had called it a “nostalgic moment” as it took her back to a time when they used to often meet physically and not just virtually, like they have been doing for months now. “All of us have a similar mindset and we get along well. I am someone who doesn’t like to go out much but now I want to meet people. Meeting them and playing the game really helped me,” she adds.
Actors Jayaram, Kunchacko Boban, Narain, Baiju and
Parvathy Nambiar couldn’t join as they were out of town. “We haven’t played shuttle for a long time and I am meeting all of them together after two years. So, there was extra warmth to see old friends,” Saiju said.
