Malayalam actor Femina George known for ‘Minnal Murali’ has officially confirmed that she is part of the much anticipated Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi film ‘Raaka’ which also features Deepika Padukone. The actress revealed this during a promotional event, stating it was something she never expected.According to a report by Cinema Express, Femina George shared that she never expected this. She further added that it was one of the biggest moments in her career so far.Femina George spoke about it during a promotional interview for her recently released musical horror-comedy ‘Karakkam’.

How the ‘Raaka’ opportunity landed for Femina George

Femina George also recalled that she recently completed work on the film ‘Disco’ which is backed by Chemban Vinod Jose, who is also part of the film ‘Raaka’. She revealed that after returning home from the shoot, she got a message from the ‘Raaka’ team.

Femina George speaks about Allu Arjun

Excited about working alongside Allu Arjun she added that she never imagined she would get to work with the ‘Pushpa’ star one day. She also talked about Allu Arjun’s 2006 film, ‘Happy’, as one of the first films of his that she saw, making her a fan of his work. The role may be small, but she described the project as a dream opportunity and said she is grateful to be part of it.
In ‘Minnal Murali’ she played the role of Bruce Lee Biji and her performance received praise.

About ‘Raaka’

Speaking of ‘Raaka’, the film is said to be a large-scale sci-fi entertainer where Allu Arjun will reportedly be seen in multiple avatars. Earlier on his birthday the makers revealed his first look which shows him with bold and sharp features, kohl-lined eyes, a receding hairline, and a thick grey beard. He has a clawed hand.

Apart from Deepika Padukone, the film is also speculated to feature Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. The film is currently under production and remains one of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema.Meanwhile, Femina George will be seen in the upcoming project ‘Haiku’.
