Mohanlal and Bachchan in Gumnaam?

An upcoming project might very well see the biggest actors of the country playing the lead, in the North and South versions of the same film. The film, titled Gumnaam, will see Mohanlal in the South version and Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi one, if all goes well. The producer of the film, Jayantilal Gada, has confirmed that the project is indeed on, and that the two actors have expressed their interest. However, the film will not be a remake of the 1965 film although it shares the same name. The film will be directed by E Niwas, of 'Total Siyapaa' fame. The makers are planning to shoot the film in Mauritius.
