Mohanlal completes the shoot of ‘Aaraattu’

Mohanlal has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Aaraattu’. The team had gone on floors on 23rd November, last year, and the shooting was progressing in Palakkad, following all the safety protocols. And Mohanlal who is playing the lead character of Neyyattinkara Gopan in the film has wrapped the shoot. Director B Unnikrishnan shared the same update through his social media handle and also shared that Mohanlal has only a day’s shoot pending, which they are planning to shoot in March.
B Unnikrishnan also added that Mohanlal made things a lot easier for everyone. “Lal sir finished his portrayal of Neyyattinkara Gopan today; there’s one more day’s work which he will finish in mid March. The way he made things a lot easier for everyone in the unit during this hectic shoot, made more difficult by the pandemic, was just amazing!! Thank You, Sir,” B Unnikrishnan tweeted.

Meanwhile, the shooting is progressing in Palakkad and we hear that the team will pack up the entire shoot in a couple of days.
‘Aaarattu’ has an interesting crew of B Unnikrishnan helming the project and Udaykrishna, who has earlier scripted the blockbuster ‘Pulimurugan’ managing the screenplay. Expected to be a mass entertainer, the film will also have action sequences.
Mohanlal is playing the lead while Shraddha Srinath has been signed in to play a pivotal role in the film. She will be seen as an IAS officer in ‘Aaraattu’. Actors Nedumudi Venu, Saikumar, Siddique, Ashwin Kumar, Rachana Narayanankutty, Johnny Antony, Vijayaraghavan, Nandu, Swasika, and Neha Saxena have roped in to play some supporting characters in the film.
