Mohanlal, IV Sasi to team up after 14 years

After 14 years, director IV Sasi will team up with superstar Mohanlal for their 23rd project. When contacted, the director confirmed the news and said, “Mohanlal will play the lead in my next movie. Apart from him, the other cast and crew members have not been decided yet.”
However, he says it is going to be a big budget film. “It will be a mass entertainer.It is too early to let out other details.” The untitled project is scripted by Prasanth and Ambadi. The director’s last outing was Rejith Menon-starrer Vellathooval in 2009, which did not fare well at the box office.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal has two projects all set for release —Sathyan Anthikad’s untitled project with Manju Warrier, and Joshiy’s Lailaa O Lailaa, which has Amala Paul as his leading lady.
