Mohanlal pens an emotional note for Linu's mother: Your son is alive in our hearts

Actor Mohanlal penned an emotional note to Linu's mother, consoling the grieving parent. Linu lost his life while trying to rescue victims of Kerala floods. Mohanlal, on behalf of his NGO, Viswasanthi foundation, has extended help to the family. According to sources, Mohanlal has offered to build a new home for Linu's family and also promised to settle any debts.
In his letter, Mohanlal said that Linu is alive in the hearts of Kerala’s three and a half crore population and added that only a good-hearted person like Linu, can risk his own life for the betterment of others."I know that no words can console you from the grief. Consider this as the affection from another son, for giving such a brave one to the society," Mohanlal stated in his note.
A native of Bepoor, Linu and his family took shelter at a nearby school, following the heavy rains. According to sources, Linu chose to go with the rescue team to help other victims but met with an accident while he was engaged in a rescue operation near Chaliyar river. The brave-heart drowned in the river and passed away.
