After leaving the music lovers awestruck with his magical composition in ‘Hridayam’,
Hesham Abdul Wahab is all set to make his mark in other entertainment industries. Hesham Abdul Wahab, who is currently working on his Telugu debut ‘
Kushi’ will be soon stepping into Tamil cinema as well. Speaking exclusively to ETimes, the ‘Hridayam’ music director has confirmed that he has signed his maiden Tamil project.
“I will be composing the music for GV Prakash’s next film.
That will mark my maiden project in Tamil. It’s too early to say about the film,” Hesham Abdul Wahab revealed.
The Kerala State Film Award-winning musician has some exciting projects in his kitty including ‘Brahmāstra’ and ‘Kushi’. He is currently working on ‘Kushi’, an upcoming multi-lingual film featuring
Samantha and
Vijay Deverakonda in the lead roles. Speaking to us earlier, Hesham Abdul Wahab divulged that the film has five songs in total. “‘Kushi’ has 5 songs, and I could only say that it will be something beyond ‘Hridayam’. The Samantha-Vijay Devarakonda starrer is humungous in several aspects,” he shared.
On the other hand, Hesham Abdul Wahab has recently crooned the song ‘Kunkumamaake’, the Malayalam version of ‘Kesariya’ song from the upcoming film ‘BRAHMĀSTRA Part One: Shiva’. Though the original song ‘Kesariya’ triggered a meme fest for the ‘love storiyan’ part of the lyrics, the Malayalam version has made the music lovers go gaga! The lyrics for the Malayalam version were penned by Shabareesh Varma, and Hesham Abdul Wahab lent his refreshing vocals to the love ballad composed by Pritam.
