A few days ago,
Lijo Jose Pellissery announced his next titled ‘A’, and recently the filmmaker shared in a post his thoughts on why someone should not ask creative people like him to stop working. In the post, Lijo Jose Pellissery also clarified that he is an independent filmmaker. A few netizens seem to have pointed out a few grammatical errors in the post and so the filmmaker then decided to give them an answer. In his latest post, Lijo Jose Pellissery said that his movie has no grammar, and his language also lacks it. “My cinema has no grammar. My language too So **** it,” reads his latest post.
Meanwhile, earlier in the post, in which Lijo Jose Pellissery announced that he is an independent filmmaker, he had also commented that he is not an English teacher, and if his followers on social media haven’t understood what he meant to say, he would elaborate it again. “Not a english teacher just film maker so just read the idea and if you have not understood the idea please ask i will elaborate. (sic)”, Lijo Jose Pellissery wrote.
On the work front, Lijo Jose Pellissery’s last outing was ‘Jallikattu’, a movie that deeply questioned the line that differentiated humans from animals. The movie went to the Toronto International Film Festival and also won the hearts of the audience. Sources also suggest that the filmmaker was filming for ‘Churuli’ prior to lockdown, but he is yet to announce the project.
