National Award winner Gaurav Menon says his promised remuneration wasn't paid by 'Kolumittayi' team

It's while he was on the sets of the film 'Kolumittayi' that child actor Gaurav Menon won the prestigious National Award last year, for the performance in the film 'Ben.'
The actor, who had also won the State Award that year, recently conducted a press meet, in which he accused the makers of 'Kolumittayi' of not paying him the promised remuneration for the film.He said that the team had told him that the amount will be paid once the movie acquires its satellite right.
However, the makers say that Gaurav acted in the movie on the promise that he won't demand any remuneration, just like the rest of the actors of the film. They also say that the film hasn't received a high satellite right amount, and the actor seems to be raising the complaint after hearing rumors about the movie acquiring a huge sum from a channel.
