National Film Awards distributed: Biju Menon, Nanchamma, and other Mollywood talents receive the prestigious awards

The 68th National Film Awards were distributed on the last day at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi and the President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards to several talents who bagged it for excelling in their respective sections. From Malayalam, Biju Menon, Nanchamma, and several others received prestigious awards.

Mollywood’s talented and versatile actor Biju Menon bagged the prestigious National Awards for the Best supporting actor in the actor entertainer movie ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’.The actor played a character named Ayyappan in the film which was directed by the late filmmaker Sachy.

The 64-year-old folk singer Nanchamma received the 68th National Film Awards for the Best Female Playback singer for the movie ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. Her songs in the action entertainment received much adulation from the audience also.

The film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ seems to be the complete winner for Mollywood at the 68th National awards as the late director Sachidanandan KR won the Best Direction award for the film. ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ also got another award for its Best Stunt Choreography.
Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his official Instagram handle to congratulate the winners from Mollywood at the 68th National Film Awards. Prithviraj Sukumaran played the lead character Koshy in the action entertainer.
Several other Mollywood celebrities also took to their official social media handles to congratulate the winners Biju Menon and Nanchamma for bagging the prestigious National Awards.
