Jose Thomas, one of the producers behind Nivin Pauly's film 'Thuramukham,' finds himself in legal trouble as he was arrested in connection with a financial fraud case on the last day. The arrest was made by District Crime Branch ACP Manoj Kumar at Thomas's residence in Patturaikkal.According to the Janam website, the 42-year-old producer faces accusations of orchestrating a financial fraud by allegedly forging documents to secure funds for the production of the film 'Thuramukham.'

The complainant, Gilbert, asserts that Jose Thomas, through fraudulent means, obtained a substantial sum of Rs 8 crores and Rs 40 lakhs for the film's production and subsequently failed to fulfil the promised repayment.It is reported that Jose Thomas utilized deceptive practices, including the creation of fake profiles and documents in the names of five individuals, for purported business purposes to secure the funds. The case initially fell under the purview of the East Police but was later transferred to the Crime Branch for further investigation.On the other hand, Nivin Pauly's 'Thuramukham' is surely one of the most delayed projects in the Malayalam film industry. Unfortunately, with the ace director Rajeev Ravi at the helm, 'Thuramukham' failed to satisfy the movie buffs and turned out to be an unsuccessful venture.
