One year of ‘Nee Mazhavillu Polen’ song: Priya Prakash Varrier shares the memory

From an overnight internet sensation to an actress, Priya Prakash Varrier has come a long way. The young actress also showcased her singing talents in between. She has crooned the song ‘Nee Mazhavillu Polen’ for the Malayalam movie ‘Finals’. And June 22 marked the first anniversary of its release. The sensational star was overjoyed and surprised that the song clocked one and has shared a video on her social media handle.Kailas Menon, who was the music director for the movie and also identified the singing talent of Priya, also joined the actress on social media to celebrate the song. “It was a wonderful experience recording you for this song @priya.p.varrier . You surprised everyone with your amazing voice ️,” the music director wrote.

2019 release ‘Finals’ was directed by PR Arun. The movie had actors Rajisha Vijayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju in lead roles.

Before the release of the movie, the song was launched and Priya Prakash Varrier’s wink in the song went viral. She became a global obsession overnight. Priya who was reportedly the junior artist in the movie, became one of the pivotal characters following the wink. After becoming the national crush, she went on to sign a Bollywood movie titled ‘Sridevi Bungalow’. The movie also made headlines as the events in the trailer allegedly had some uncanny resemblance to the accidental demise of late veteran actress Sridevi Kapoor.
