Pappilio Buddha bags two awards

Papilio Buddha, which has been screened at several international film festivals, has won two awards at the Ohakka Film Festival of Mexico.
It has won awards for best camera and art direction. M J Radhakrishnan is conferred with the Best Cinematographer award and Manu Perunna for the Best Art Director award. The socially relevant film starring Saritha Sunil, Padmapriya, Prakash Bare and David Briggs throws light on the plight of the marginalised, landless tribes.Directed by Jayan Cherian, Pappilio Buddha also focuses on the atrocities against the Dalits.
