Audience reviews for 'Patriot' remain mixed

Despite the star-studded cast, audience reactions have been divided. Several viewers praised the performances of Mammootty and Mohanlal, but others felt the story lacked a strong narrative punch. One netizen wrote, "This is a much anticipated movie were both big M's of Mollywood united after a long time, it creates lots of expectations in the mind of movie goers, but it only delivers to a small extend and overall the movie is not that great or very bad.
The main positives are of course Mohanlal and Mammootty, major drawback for me was the lack of a strong plot and lengthy duration of the movie. I would say there were some high moments but the movie should have been cut short by at least 40,50 minutes to make it more engaging."Another user wrote, "Went with not expecting mass moments ,but trusting the three Ms. The two bigs Ms did their job, while Mahesh felt like he lost it. In the three hours of movie, it was only Mohanlal's presence that was a joy to watch. While ikka did his best, the make up and costumes were all off. I still dont understand the reason behind casting Nayantara, FaFa n chacochan all for such roles."DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
