People identify closely with the characters in Thamasha: Vinay Forrt

Thamasha has opened to good reviews and the actors, particularly Chinnu Chandni Nair and Vinay Forrt, talked about how viewers have said that the film is inspirational.
Chinnu, who plays an overweight young woman by the same name, says that she has received about “300 messages in a day, of which about half the messages say that ‘I feel like the Chinnu in the movie’". The film, which is about body shaming, “is about characters that each one of us know or identify with,” says Vinay Forrt, who plays a balding professor looking for love.“All the characters are relatable. I feel touched and amazed that the film has moved people deeply.”
The heart-warming film was written and directed by debutant Ashraf Hamza, and also features Divya Prabha, Grace Antony and Navas Vallikunnu.
