Playback singer Anna Katharina ties the knot

This year���s wedding season in film circles kickstarted with playback singer and actress Ranjini Jose tying the knot with Ram Nair. The next in line is another playback singer, Anna Katharina, who tied the knot with businessman Ranjesh Chandy in a traditional Christian wedding ceremony in Kottayam today.
Interestingly, the very song that brought her to the limelight, was instrumental in helping her find her soulmate.In an interview, while talking about her engagement plans, she had revealed that Ranjesh���s mother had loved her song and approached her family with the proposal. Thanks to composer Gopi Sunder, who roped her to croon Appangalembadum in Anwar Rasheed���s Usthad Hotel.
Anna and Ranjesh got engaged in November. Ranjesh, a native of Kottayam, runs a chain of catering outlets. Anna is a commercial pilot by profession; however, it was singing that interested her more. In addition to crooning for a few Malayalam movies such as Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Casanovva, Mallu Singh, Masters, Hero and in the Tamil movie Yaaruda Mahesh, she has also rendered her voice for ad jingles.
