Pranav Ratheesh's Theeram to hit theatres on May 19

Yesteryear actor Ratheesh's youngest son, Pranav Ratheesh’s debut Mollywood film, ‘Theeram’ will have a theatre release on May 19. Pranav plays Ali, an auto rickshaw driver in the movie. The film is a love story based in Alappuzha that speaks of a simple tale of an auto rickshaw driver and a girl who falls in love with him. The film, directed by Saheed Arafath, has Tiny Tom, Anjali Nair, Sudhi Koppa and Krishna Prabha in other roles.The trailer of Theeram had traces of the actor’s dad also as it visualised the late actor's iconic role, Mohan Thomas from the movie, Commissioner, which was being watched on television by Pranav's character. The movie has been scripted by Prinish Prabhakaran and Ansar Thajudeen.
