For nearly a month, actor Prayaga Martin has been waking up at 4 am and heading to Thevara to work out with friends. "One of my biggest learnings in the pandemic has been that if we have good, inspiring friends and positive vibes, we can make everything possible," she says excitedly. Prayaga and her friends who worked together in her much-discussed short film The Soldier in the Trench got together a month back and decided to focus on fitness.

"My days have become long and beautiful. I am doing things that I had never thought I could. If not for my friends and the pandemic, I wouldn't have known the benefits of fitness. This is the best stress buster for me now. I was so claustrophobic, and my sleep patterns were irregular. Now I have no such issues," she says.

The actress gives all credits to her friends. “I wasn’t ever so consistent in workout. If not my friends, I wouldn’t have ever hit the floors. We had taken a 28 days challenge. My coach is Cris Jacob is very inspiring. Now, I am really excited. I am going to make it my daily regimen,” she says.
The team meet up every day at Jogo fitness. “This is an open space and post workout, we have an amazing discussion session. This relaxes us mentally as well,” she adds.
Prayaga says she has plenty of time these days and also feels really good. “My days are long, and I have a lot of energy. Now I have a clear mindset and the ability to focus on what I want,” she says.
