Prithviraj reveals why he met minister Kadakampally Surendran before Lucifer’s shoot
Prithviraj Sukumaran seemingly left no stones unturned for making sure his directorial debut Lucifer has the best visuals. Before the movie began its shoot last year, the actor had also met up with Kerala Minister of Co-operation, Tourism and Devaswom, Kadakampally Surendran.
Recently, at a press meet in Dubai, the actor was asked if the meeting helped him in any way, and Prithviraj said, “The meeting benefitted the film in ways I cannot describe.

That’s the only reason why we were allowed to shoot at the Kanakakunnu Palace, where shooting has been since several years. I met him in person to explain why I needed the palace and assured him that our shooting crew will be careful and responsible while filming there. I also told him that I would personally tell everyone that it’s a heritage site before we begin the shoot, and that’s why we got permission to shoot.”
Lucifer, which has Mohanlal in the lead, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 28. The film also has Manju Warrier, Vivek Oberoi, Indrajith and Tovino Thomas as part of the cast.
