Prithviraj’s next is titled Kaaliyan

While Mollywood is awaiting some of the biggest films this year with films such as Odiyan, Mahabharatham and Kunjali Marikkar, among many others, actor Prithviraj is also ready with a period film. The motion poster of his next film, which is titled Kaaliyan, was out recently. The movie will bring alive the heroic life of Kunchirakottu Kaaliyan, about whom all the ballads of the South sing praise of. Kaaliyan will be brought to the fore by the makers of Ordinary and Anarkali. By the looks of the video, the audience can expect to see the actor in a completely different light. Directed by debutant S Mahesh, the narrative is penned by BT Anil Kumar, and has music from Shankar Ehsaan Loy, who have together churned out many hits in Bollywood. Kaaliyan is the telltale of a fight that burst out during the 17th century in Venad.
