Priyadarshan reunites with Urvashi after 28 years of ‘Mithunam’!

Here’s the most exciting piece of news you might come across today. Filmmaker Priyadarshan reunited with Urvashi, after 28 years of the release of their film ‘Mithunam’. Urvashi had acted in Priyadarshan’s directorial ‘Mithunam’, which was released in 1993. The duo reunited recently on the sets of the Tamil movie ‘Appatha’. Priyadarshan was delighted to see his ‘Mithunam’ heroine and so was she! Interestingly, ‘Appatha’ also marks Urvashi’s 700th film!

The filmmaker took to his social media handle and shared a picture with Urvashi and said, “The reunion that happened long after 'Midhunam'! Getting back together in 'Appatha', the upcoming Tamil movie which marks the 700th one for Urvasi!”
In the picture, Urvashi is seen in an elderly avatar and the fans of the actress are going gaga over her reunion with Priyadarshan.

“The only actress and heroine who does emotional, sentiment, romantic, character role, negative role also and especially HUMOUR is Urvashi Chechi (sic),” a netizen wrote.
Another fan of the duo penned, “Mithunam is a classic movie.”
Meanwhile, details regarding the cast and crew of ‘Appatha’ are currently under wraps.
A National Award-winning actress Urvashi, has worked in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada movies. She has worked with most of the A-listers in Indian cinema, including Kamal Haasan.
On the work front, Urvashi has been receiving appreciation from the masses lately for her performances in the Tamil films ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and ‘Mookuthi Amman’. She has some exciting projects in the kitty including Malayalam movie ‘Kesu Ee Veedinte Nadhan’.
