R S Vimal wins the Best Director award at 63rd Filmfare South

His efforts to make an evergreen love story into a movie had won appreciations galore, and now debut moviemaker R S Vimal also walks away with the Best Director Award at the 63rd Filmfare Awards South, 2016. The movie that stars Prithviraj and Parvathy in the lead role had also won nominations in the Best Actor, Actress and music categories.
Winning the award, he says, "I dedicate all awards to God and Moideen.Thank you Prithvi, Lena and every friend."
