Comedian – director
Ramesh Pisharody is known for his love for animals and birds, and he is often seen posting pictures with them too.
His debut movie ‘Panchavarnathatha’ with Jayaram in the lead also featured many animals.
Recently, he shared a fun video on his social media page, in which his pet bird at home ‘twirls his moustache’ at his instruction, as his kid looks on.
The video was titled, ‘To earn a fruit, the moustache had to be twirled nine times.’
And as always, his followers and fans were quick to come up with witty replies too. While someone said, ‘It looks like 2020 isn’t a great year for birds either,’ someone else commented in jest, ‘You will soon be in trouble for threatening birds, I am close friends with Maneka Gandhi. If you want to hush up the case, we can meet. What say?’ and ‘Will you make baby dragons spit fire tomorrow?’ Certain followers even ‘observed’ that the bird might be collecting the fibres needed for its new cage from Pisharody’s moustache, before it flies away, and ‘If it was a puppy, people might have filed a case against you.’
Ramesh Pisharody’s latest directorial venture was the Mammootty starrer film ‘Ganagandharvan,’ released in the year 2019. As an actor, he will be part of the upcoming projects ‘The Priest,’ directed by Jofin T Chacko, which also stars Mammootty and Manju Warrier together for the first time ever; and the film ‘Mohan Kumar Fans,’ which also has actors Kunchacko Boban and Anarkali Nasar in major roles.
