Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer Malayalam film ‘Adios Amigo’, which was slated to release on August 2, has been postponed due to the recent Wayanad landslides.
On Wednesday, July 31, night, the producer of ‘Adios Amigo’ announced the postponement of the film, due to the Wayanad tragedy. They are yet to announce the new release date. The makers of ‘Adios Amigo’ also expressed their grief in the landslides that has occured in Wayanad.

In a note shared on Instagram, the producer said, “As we cope with the incessant rains and the calamity that has struck Wayanad, our hearts go out to the families and loved ones who have suffered unimaginable loss. This is a time of immense grief and sorrow, and we stand in solidarity with those affected. We know that this tragedy has impacted all of us deeply in one way or the other, hence we would like to postpone the release. Our thoughts are with those affected by this calamity. Stay safe!”
Directed by Nahas Nazar, ‘Adios Amigo’ has Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles. Actors Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathy, Althaf Salim, Jinu Joseph, Salim Hassan, Anagha, Muthumani, and Riaa Saira will be seen playing pivotal parts in the film.
