Roshan Mathew has now emerged as one of the most sought-after actors in M-Town. In his latest social media post, the young actor has shared a priceless throwback picture he had taken with Mammootty. Roshan Mathew has shared the screen with
Mammootty during his salad days in cinema. He has worked with the Megastar in the 2015 film ‘Puthiya Niyamam’. Roshan took a trip down the memory lane and recalled how he stood frozen starstruck by Mammootty.
“Sometime around August 2015, from the first time ever that I worked on a feature film.
Still remember how I froze when @mammootty sir put his arm around me for a shot and then kept it there for a while after. I tried my best to stay calm and be casual. Will always be grateful for this film and for the experience I had with this legend,” Roshan said, sharing the photo with his fans.
‘Puthiya Niyamam’ released in 2016, was directed by A K Saajan. The film featured Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead roles and the crime drama saw Roshan Mathew in the role of the antagonist.
Meanwhile, Roshan Mathew will be next seen in ‘Darlings’, an upcoming Hindi film backed by
Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film will feature Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew in lead roles. The film is directed by Jasmeet K Reen. The film is reportedly a dark comedy, set in Mumbai against the backdrop of a lower-middle-class neighbourhood, and actors Shefali Shah and
Alia Bhatt will be playing the mother-daughter duo.
On the work front, Roshan Mathew’s recent release was ‘Kuruthi’.
