Run Kalyani opens the New York Indian Film Festival

Run Kalyani, directed by Geetha J kick started the virtual edition of New York Indian Film Fiestival which began from July 24 and will conclude on August 2. 2020. As per reports, it is the first Malayalam movie to open the festival.
Run Kalyani tells the tale of a young cook who who lives with her ailing aunt. While living a monotonous life everyday, it tries to tell the audience through a series of events that each day is different.The film is scripted and directed by Geetha and features Madhu, Ramesh Varma, Garggi Ananthan, Manoj Menon and Tara Kalyan.
