After debuting in Telugu in National Award-winning director Rajesh Touchriver’s movie Raktham as a naxalite, Sanju Sivram will next be seen in Achayans in Mollywood.
On his role, Sanju says, “I appear as Rafi, a graphic artist who is part of the close-knit gang of
Jayaram, Unni Mukundan and Adil Ibrahim. They are cousins in the film and Rafi always puts the trio in trouble.”
Sanju is excited to act alongside Jayaram after Bharya Athra Pora and
Prakash Raj for the first time.
“It’s so much of fun on the sets as we all are good friends. Prakash Raj is extremely talented and all what his co-actors have to do is to react to his actions. While shooting with him acting naturally come to us!” The film’s shooting is progressing at Kothamangalam.
Apart from Achayans, Sanju is also part of Padmini, a biopic on the artist of the same name. While Anumol plays the painter, Sanju will be seen as her husband, Damodharan, who is also an artist. “Since it is a real-life story and the person is still alive, playing Damo-dharan was challenging,” says Sanju.
