Santhy Balachandran looks resplendent as a mother-to-be and then a mother in a video for a poem written by NRI Aishwarya Suresh. The nearly 10-minute video, shot by Luca cinematographer Nimish Ravi, is set in a traditional home and amid old-age scenarios with the voice over of the poem. Titled The Love I Come From, the visually rich video dwells on old Kerala rituals.
“I come from walls that resonate with the hums of a mother’s lullaby, And the melody of ancient wooden cradles, Rocking for a thousand generations,” the poem goes. The video, released on social media, is directed by Ajith James Ephrem.
