Shruti Ramachandran: Any work for betterment of women is right

Actor Shruti Ramachandran, who is appearing opposite Jayasurya in family crime thriller Anveshanam, says that while she is not a part of the Women in Cinema Collective, any work that is done for betterment of women in society in any field is on the right track.
“I am not a part of WCC, so I don’t know what work they do. But if you have the right intention, and you know what feminism is –feminism is not saying that a women is bigger than man or vice versa –and any organisation with the right people and a genuinely correct understanding of the state of affairs, it is great,” says Shruti, adding she is not a part of the organisation, because she is not sure about her part in the industry.
