Sunny Wayne excited to be in Gauthami Nair's directorial

Gauthami Nair who debuted alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne in Second Show has been on a sabbatical since 2016. The Diamond Necklace actress is now all set to return to Mollywood, but this time as a director. Her maiden venture will have her directing her buddy Sunny Wayne.
Excited to be part of Gauthami’s debut directorial, Sunny Wayne tells us, “We have been discussing this idea for the past three years and we consciously took this much time to bring it alive.The movie is about a simpleton, and has an interesting storyline.”
The film will see Vimanam fame Durga Krishna playing the female lead and actors Anoop Menon and Saiju Kurup in pivotal roles. “The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. The film will have some interesting guest appearances and majority of the crew will be women,” Sunny explains.
Scripted by Aravind KS and Daniel Sayooj Nair, the movie will go on floors in the beginning of 2019 in Thiruvananthapuram. The film’s pooja was held in the capital city on Sunday.
