'The gap left by Oduvil, Thilakkan is still vacant'

Dileep’s movies have always been bolstered by performances of his supporting actors. However the actor tells us now that he feels there is a huge gap left by veteran actors.
“Malayalam cinema was rich with talents once upon a time,” he says. “There’s still a huge vacant space left by actors such as Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Cochin Haneefa, Thilakan, Kuthiravattom Pappu and also Jagathy, who met with an accident, that is yet to filled.It’s a huge loss to our industry.”
The actor though tells us that to point actors such as Sai Kumar, Siddique and Vijayaraghavan have managed to do the fill the gap but it’s still making it tough for the filmmakers to cast those roles.
