Unni Mukundan sings the old hit 'Raat Kali'
Unni Mukundan has been earning his fair share of fans through singing too, in the recent past.
The actor, who debuted as a vocalist through the 2017 release movie ‘Achayans,’ in which he had also doubled up as a lyricist, has sung in a couple of other movies too in the later years. When he uploaded a video of him singing the famous old hit Hindi song ‘Raat Kali Ik Khwab Mein Aayi,’ sung by Kishore Kumar in the 1971 release film ‘Buddha Mil Gaya,’ on his social media page, many of his fans were quick to applaud his effort.

Interestingly, it was a throwback video from a year ago, as per the caption given by Unni. In the video, Unni can be seen sitting in a moving car, while crooning the song. In the caption, the actor says, ‘I like this song ... I’m not driving. And, this was done an year ago when I didn’t know about corona or mask.’
In ‘Achayans,’ Unni sang the track ‘Anuraagam Puthumazha Pole,’ which was composed by music director Ratheesh Vega and penned by the actor himself. He went on to sing the song ‘Etho Vazhithaarayil’ in the 2018 release film ‘Chanakya Thanthram’ and ‘Chaarathu Nee’ in ‘Oru Kuttanadan Blog,’ which was released in the same year. In the year 2020, he had sung the track ‘Ek Tha Boss’ for the Mammootty starrer movie ‘Shylock.’ He has also penned a song in the language Hindi for the upcoming movie ‘Maradu 357,’ directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam.
