‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ box office collection day 11: Pranav Mohanlal-Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer collects Rs 58 crore

Within its first eleven days of release, Varshangalkku Shesham has soared high, amassing an estimated Rs 28.65 crore in net earnings in India alone. While Varshangalkku Shesham is also about missed opportunities, the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial, which spans about 50 years, is at the heart, a story of friendship, with lots of in-jokes woven in. Vineeth's script, where the two friends blow hot and blow cold doesn't flow smoothly. And while audiences loved the jokes referencing Sreenivasan or the industry, the rest of the humour doesn't really land. Also, it's a bit disappointing that there are no prominent women characters. From such a fun team, we would have expected a more engaging, moving film.”
