Vellappam’s latest poster reflects an urban milieu

Pathinettam Padi fame actor Akshay Radhakrishnan’s next project Velleppam, which is directed by Praveen Raj, might be set in the Velleppam Angadi of Thrissur, but it’s latest poster reveals an urban milieu.
The movie, which is a romcom laced with fantasy, has Akshay play Joseman, who is a Jesus Christ lookalike in the film. Noorin Shereef plays the female lead in the film, which also has Roma, Sreejith Ravi and Leona Lishoy.
Noorin plays Kalina, an artist who comes to Thrissur to retouch mural paintings of Puthanpally that were damaged during floods. The movie is expected to hit theatres this year.
